I know what it feels like to work from sun up to sundown. That was my corporate strategy. Unfortunately, I brought the same strategy into my business as an entrepreneur.
This is the complete opposite of why I started my business. I thought that I would have more freedom. I was going to leverage my degree and make money on my own. Oh boy was I wrong. It was the hardest thing that I have ever done – build a business.
I booked the calls, sold the services, managed the clients, ran the marketing machine – basically, I picked up every role in the business. I WAS the entire organization chart. This left me with very little time to do anything else. I did not believe that I could be supported or rest until I made at least a million dollars.
It was not until I worked behind the scenes for a seven-figure business leader that I realized how waiting was going to slow me down versus speed up my growth. I saw the leader attempt to build a team after reaching seven figures. I saw the way that things came to a standstill because they had to work backward to train or not train people to do their job. It worked but it was chaotic.
I immediately knew that I wanted to do business differently. From services, pricing, team, and more. There had to be a better way. I was not willing to put my health and family at risk for the sake of building a profitable business that would break me.
What I understood was that my business needed to be built to serve me. I started adding support early so that I did not have to hold the fort down alone. This did not require me to have a huge team. I just needed to make sure that I was not the only one.
I built breaks in immediately. Why wait? Imagine what it feels like to put off joy in the thing that you build until you reach your maximum goal. There is nothing exciting about that. You are more likely to quit or burn out if that is the case.

Will we have time to enjoy the amenities?
We have created the event so that you can enjoy the resort and spa. The goal is to help you to make connections and also relax. You will not spend four days looking at walls in a conference room.
Is food included?
Yes, this resort is all-inclusive. Meals and many activities are included in your nightly fee.
